This month’s Beauty Box has five gorgeous beauty products with a total value of over $78!
October’s Vegan Cuts Beauty Box included:
Palmetto Derma Rejuvenating Antioxidant Mask, $64 – Dooooooood. This item covers the cost of the box and then SO much more – talk about value! This soft clay mask is designed to gently purify your skin by absorbing excess oil and de-gunking pores. It has a really nice, creamy consistency and provides a refreshing cooling sensation. It includes anti-aging rockstar ingredients like hyaluronic acid, which seriously hydrates your skin, as well as peptides, kaolin clay, and glycolic acid. I appreciate that this mask is free of parabens and phthalates, too. I’m still trippin’ on the price of this thing!
The All Natural Face Frosted Berries Lip Gloss,* $4.60 – First off, love this moisture-rich, natural, nude-y shade. It’s very flattering. Second, the ingredients are suuuuuper pure and clean, which I love: cold pressed castor oil, candelilla wax, mica and oxides – that’s it!! 🙂
Revive Bath & Body Soap Bar, $2.50 – This is such a pretty soap sample, and it smells gorgeous! It has a peppermint, rosemary, lemon scent, giving it a nice clean and refreshing vibe.
Juice Beauty Green Apple Body Moisturizer,* $5 – I always get excited when Juice Beauty samples pop up in subby boxes. This is an effective, clean beauty brand that always leaves my skin feeling delicious. I like that this body moisturizer is on the thicker side (can’t stand the super watery kinds), and it has a lovely zesty cistrus-y scent goin’ on.
EDEN BodyWorks Peppermint Tea Tree Shampoo, $2.59 – I seldom wash my hair (I know, I’m a nasty beast), so I never get too worked up over hair care samples unless it’s dry shampoo. 😉 I do, however, loooove all things peppermint, so I def got my whiff on with this stuff and it’s 2legit2quit, lol. It’s mega minty, and I bet it’s tingly on the scalp, too. Imma pass this on to Mr. VBR, though. Dang, it really does smell GUD!
*faves from this month’s box
Overall impression: Everything together is valued at $79, which is pretty awesome! It was a lovely mix of skin care, makeup, and hair care. Box faves: The All Natural Face lip gloss (I’m a sucker for lippies and I love the all-natural formula) and the Juice Beauty moisturizer because it’s nice and thick, and as temps drop, Imma need all the lube-y love I can get for my crusty, scaly skin! Overall, October’s VCBB box was a hit!
